Birthday Update...

For everyone who remembers the plastic box episode from last christmas..here is what the MR. got me for my birthday..an expired disposable camera that was on sale at CVS, and a "nice bag of apples" because I had said I wish I had gone picking apples this year...and he KNOWS how much I LOVE canning applesauce...can you believe this? man I get ripped off every year. My kids on the other hand came through once again and got me a lovely gold rope necklace with pearls on it from a very reputable jeweler..thank god for smart children.

wow. does he think funny, or is this some truly sincere gift-giving?

my husband rarely bought me gifts on the premise that i buy everything i want as soon as i want it, anyway, so there's nothing left for him to get me. which is waht chocolate is for, i say.

OMG no he wasn't being funny-he just thinks differently than most..(all those degrees will do that to a person)..he didn't even remember my b-day till almost 4pm and thats when he made a dash to cvs to see what he could find..(my girls must have called him and reminded him).He only picked up the apples because he happened to stop in the grocery store for dog food and chocolate milk ( the milk was for him-he's addicted).. I wouldn't have even cared about ANY gift from him had he just remembered it was my b-day..The worst(besides the plastic box) was when he ran out and got me a FROM YOUR SECRET PAL card..now that sucks..if i had a secret pal and found out it was someone like MR.mELON i would probably jump off a large cliff. why cant guys like MEL ever mail me secret pal cards..*sniff*

Last year for christmas my very talented (*sarcasm*) husband purchased for me:

A PLASTIC BOX. (It was kind of a plastic tackle box type thingy-but very cheap, and very plastic)..yeh-he's a great guy.
