View Full Version : MASSIVE STAPLES COUPONS $450 off 450!!!
06-10-2000, 08:48 PM
Ok..use at your own risk! codes EDITED-EDUTED are MASSIVE staples coupons with no minimum purchase! The end code # after the is the amount of the coupon plus one dollar.
Example: code EDITED= $102 off
EDITED = $127 off
up to EDITED = $150 off
stacking three coupons on one order can get you almost $450 OFF!! but stacking seems to raise suspicions at Staples now...so good luck to everyone....HERE WE GO AGAIN!!!!

Umm you must be crazy...they will differently come after you for that. Not a smart move!
Hopefully Apex will notice this post and delete it before we have another incident with all the users again being charged full price.

Geez. Hope you guys are smarter than this.
Please edit your post and remove those codes before people hurt themselves and we have to listen to 2 weeks worth of Staples whines.
actually, use just one of those coupons is good enough....people!!! dont' abuse it..use wisely....don't be greedy http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/wink.gif
Called them up, looks like those #s are only valid for Dividend's customers. Be VERY careful.

Everyone's best bet is too stay away from the coupons. But I know some idiot is going to try it. If you do (AND I AM REALLY SAYING DON'T) make sure you print out the Submited Order Page. It will be the last page after you submit with the price and the coupon. Because I am sure staples will charge you FULL PRICE if they don't cancel it. At least that way you can urge it with your credit card company.
Once again...your best bet is to walk away from this "scam".

People called CS and deal has been reported dead on other forums...i guess this is the "Got to kill Deals by calling CS" forum now?
RULE #1 Dont call CS
Rule #2 Refer to Rule #1

Thanks freenet for editing your codes. http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/smile.gif

This "deal" was dead before you posted it. It could never have been a deal.
Use responsibility folks!

I tried it just for fun. I have $30 avail on my card, so if it doesnt work (which it wont), I cant get charged full.
I know it won't go through- but I don't want to miss out like that $100 bolt.com deal a few weeks back!
is this legit? if it isn't, can someone explain why? Thanks.

"Dollars off" coupons cannot be combined with other "dollars off" coupons.
Coupons may only be used once and can not be used on additional orders.
Void where prohibited.
No cash or credit back.
Coupon must be submitted at time of order.
Coupon value does not include tax.
Dividends checks can be redeemed prior to expiration.

"Product specific" coupons may be combined with other coupons.
Staples.com reserves the right to reject orders that use a coupon code that was obtained from a bulletin board or other Internet site. Staples.com also reserves the right to reject orders with a coupon code that was transferred from a direct mail recipient or is in violation of any coupon restriction listed above

Ahh....evil flashbacks are playing in my mind! I would defininetly stay AWAY from staples, especially their coupons!

If you use a web cert with a low balance, this is pretty safe.
They can't charge you any more than the balance on your web cert.
That way, Staples cannot do the overcharging scam again.
Can't hurt to give it a shot with a web cert.
The saying is true:
STAPLES IS SUCK!

Yes, disregarding the grammar,
"STAPLES IS SUCK!"
or "STAPLES SUCKS!"

True, staples sucks, but the Staples Center home the the Lakers is pretty cool. But then again it is home of the Clippers too....
You know what is funny, when the Lakers play the Clippers at the Staples Center.... If it is a Laker Home game coutside tickets are $500 up, but when the Clippers are at home courtside is like 50 bucks...

apparently mycoupons.com got a hold of this and the codes are still working, they are BOMBARDING staples.com, so you may get an order which slips through, just make sure to use a webcertificate or ecount..DEAL IS NOT DEAD!!!

Here is some amusing info I ran across regarding Staples.com
"Investors have been less than impressed with Staples.com's progress. The parent company's stock price fell in March after analysts predicted that the losses incurred by Staples.com would be larger than expected."
With these recurring "issues" that they are having, I think they may be in for a rough month of June as well.
Heck, after the crap they've been putting me through since March (just got my credit last week); THEY DESERVE IT!!

I just made an order using a webcert..can't hurt me. I do think that calling up the CS was a pretty dumb thing to do, Lore, although as everyone's saying the "deal" probably won't work out anyway. It'd be cool to get a $150 canon printer for free though.
06-11-2000, 11:33 AM
My order was just cancelled... hehe. It was a fun ride though! this time I never got my hopes up.
06-11-2000, 11:51 AM
Well at least staples let you know. That is something they usually don't. What did you send you an email or phone call? I remember with the last "deals" they were just canceling orders and not letting people know. Seems like they are improving some then. http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/smile.gif
06-11-2000, 11:56 AM
Yeah, email. They never told me last time. Heh... so this is an improvement. It's funny because the form letter is like I asked them to investigate "thanks for your patience in this matter," etc, etc.
Oh well.. I knew it was too good to be true!
