Anyone have the Motorola V60c? If I go w/ Verizon, Im getting it for sure. The cheapest dirty deal price I could find was around $300. Any opinions??

Thanks- much appreciated

If you get one, be very careful with the antenna. It breaks very easily.

Yah, the antenna tend to break, but since it's on Verizon, they tend to replace them for free anyways...

My friend had this phone for about a week. He really liked it and it worked well, except he lost it because the phone is so small. :heh:

Havent seen anything even close to acceptable. Verizon goes CDMA, and Qualcomm is hella strict about what phones they will allow for that. Cingular has cool phones cause their GSM Nokia/etc are sold everywhere worldwide. So you choose either between good service and ugly phones or vice versa.

Just FYI, the Motorola V60t (TDMA version) is launching for AT&T Oct. 29. Retail is $399.99. I'm sure you'll be able to get a better deal than that.

There are alot of phones that are supposedly CDMA Triband, but Verizon tests every single one for a few months before allowing them to be released. Therefore, the selection is low. By the way, many nokia CDMA phones don't meet the stringent requirements that Verizon sets. On the flipside, their phones tend to be very reliable.

The GSM phones tend to follow european or asian GSM phone designs, but their best phone still doesn't match up to my japanese phones.

Remember, when it comes to cell phones, the service makes the phone, not the phone itself.

I've only had one cell phone in my life. Its the Ericsson T28 World and I'm using Cingular. Pretty happy with it, especially since I got the $3 a month insurance, which I used a couple of months ago when I drop and shattered the phone.

Other than that, I'm with Brewmaster. A rats ass I don't give. :bigmouth:
