FYI diet coke WITH lemon

HOOOOOOORAAAAAAAY..COCA-COLA has now started putting lemon in their diet coke..yummm..I drank so much yesterday I woke up this morning and my fingers looked like little barrels on the ends of my hands..I could hear that interstitial swishing going on every time I tried to make a fist..it was cool..Edema is always fun.

I don't know. I had some and it tasted putrid.

I like diet coke, and i like adding lemon as well as other things to it, but this sis not taste right.

I could be way off, but you just add fresh lemon to it yourself? Wouldn't that taste better? Cuz personally, I love drinking regular coke with a slice of lemon in it, but I'd be hesistant to try "Lemon Coke."

Just my 1 cent. (it ain't worth 2 cents.)

bought a bunch of that last week...tastes really lemony..was looking for the regular coke with lemon flavor, but it seems they dont make one..too bad though it was kinda tasty

i tried the diet pepsi with lemon that they came out with like 6 months ago... it actually made diet coke palatable for a change. i will probly like the diet coke version, too.

This is kind of like Pepsi Twist. Regular Pepsi w/ a lemony taste to it. The only place I saw it was when I was in Vancouver, Canada this summer.

Ick.. the stuff is nasty. But, it probably won't last, like Clear Pepsi.. you guys remember that stuff? I personally would buy Clear Pepsi.. it was the same stuff without a ton of coloring.

I loved Crystal Pepsi back in the day. it tasted like carbonated sugar water with some extra flavoring. Ah...those were the days.

Its diet coke with some wierd lemony flavor tossed in..I LOVE it! but then again I liked it when coke used to burn your throat on the way down..now that was REAL soda :)

I remember Clear Pepsi. That stuff was horrible. I don't like Pepsi to begin with, but that was absolutely yucky! :mad:

I wouldn't mind trying Coke with lemon if they had it with normal coke. I don't like diet. It has a bad aftertaste.

Diet sodas don't just have a bad aftertaste, they taste bad. I get sick if I drink it...and as if diet coke didn't taste bad enough without adding fake lemon juice. :puke:

What I would give for Vernors to come back as it tasted 30 years ago. Now THAT stuff had a kick! If you drank it out of a glass, the fizz alone was strong enough to knock you out of your chair.

I bought a 12 pakc of Diet Coke with Lemon per oblongmelon's recomendtation and it's good. I hate regular Diet Coke, but this wasn't bad. I think it tastes a lot like if you added lemonade, not just a squirt of lemon juice.

BTW, no, i've never seen regular coke with lemon. can't wait for it though!

Last summer in Spain I had beer with lemonade. I ordered it by accident but it wans't that bad. I still prefer regular beer.

Naw, they didn't have Corona in Spain I think. It was called Clara I think. But it was pre-made with the lemon, not something they put in there in the bar.

I like Diet Coke as well. Only diet. I guess I've just grown so used to it that it seems "regular" now. I can't stand regular coke.

When at a restaurant, if I splurge the $3 for a drink, I'll usually get Diet Coke and have them throw in a lemon wedge. Just like it that way. So, when I saw DCwL at a store (some convenience store in NYC -- for the person who was asking if it's available here...), I got it.

All around, not bad. not exactly the same as throwing a lemon wedge into a glass of DC, but it did taste lemon-y. The strange thing, though, was the after-taste was exactly like "Froot Loops" cereal. :P I could do without that (as I had a traumatic experience w/ FLs when I was a kid), but I guess I can deal...
