ok, so i went bargain basement and got a cheapy one from compgeeks...

i have an abit kt7a-raid board and i'm itching to add some more disks to the mix. also thinking about tossing a scsi disk i have in there as well...and *maybe* doing some of this overclocking stuff all of you talk about hehehehee.

so the power supply sucks and the case is tin foil...time for a new one

my requiremnts...looks good (no windows, lights or other stuff like that)...good ventilation...2,3 fans...room for about 3 disks, dvd and cdrw...affordable

help me...send links!

i've built so many pcs in my day but never paid much attention to the cases...but i want something nice this time around.

thanks!

Antec (http://www.antec-inc.com/product/cases/sohoser.html)

You can get it with a 400w :D

I have 4 Hard Drives, DVD, CD-RW and the Sounblaster LiveDrive...

It is a well built case, has 4 case fans ( one right in a drive cage, I put my RAID drive behind that ) I love this case....

if you look around you can get it for just under $100

what a coincidence, i was eyeing that one up at compusa lastnight...

the 300W one was 179 there...found the 400W on pricewatch for 130 shipped....definitely #1 on my list so far...

anyone else have a case they'd reccommend?

I just got mine today!! I'm telling you, this is one sleek case and see the big round things on the side, those are actually vents that you can open and close. Well, my only complaint is that when you open the comp, the whole sides and top must come off (they're 1 piece) but it doesnt even use screws. Since I'm planning on putting a window and other stuff this "whole thing must come off" deal isn't good. I'm planning on just cutting a door on the side, maybe put a hinge there. But overall, I really like the case, it looks cool too.

by the way, if you want to get the case I mentioned up there, go to buycase.com (http://store.yahoo.com/buycaseonline/midtower.html) they have it the cheapest and fast shipment.

it's the IMT-4000, they also have other cool looking cases.
