best buy has a 12x4x32 smart and friendly burner on sale. i think its discontinued or something and i saw this on anandtech so i checked out the ones in san diego and took the last ones. apparently there are no more in california http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/frown.gif so if you guys can find these anywhere this would be a hot deal!! no pricematching, no coupon stuff!!

Just picked one up at the store by me here in Mission Viejo, CA. The beauty of it is, it was an open box item (but i looked inside and it was totally unused) and they were only charging $129.60 for it. This is gonna make me some cash :-)

I was at the Cerritos one today and there were none to be found. Did you have to ask for it or what? Either they were cleaned out/never had them/or had them in a special place(no, not THAT special place).

Guys don't bother for the one in Cerritos. My friend works at the Best Buy in Cerritos (less than a mile from my house) and it's gone! Bastards. Although he says the one in Lakewood has one in stock but not on the shelves. See ya there hehe http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/smile.gif

Damn. I went to Best buy in Thousand oaks today. they said every store from Palmdale to West LA is out of these suckers!!

Guys get in on this one if you can. Many Best Buys don't even know that they are priced at $149.50. I bought one for a friend yesterday. Today we drove 100 miles to get me one. I couldn't resist the great price and ended up getting two of them.

Man, I went to one Best Buy and called two more in Columbus O, and basically they just laughed at me and said they flew off the shelves within hours of the price drop.

My question is....how did anandtech find out about it so fast? Oh well.
