Did someone from the Aztek team infiltrate Nissan's design studios? Guess which car was beaten senseless by the ugly stick?

Alas, it's the end of an era.

Usually i'd totally agree with you. I love ripping on car companies when they progress from a decent design into creative ugliness.
Celica became so butt ugly in 1990(?).
Prelude went from nice to the butt ugly rear end. Later, to compensate, they fixed the rear and brought us the butt ugly front end seen in the current generation.
3rd generate Integra front end. Oh its grown on us but its still butt ugly(but so many kids bought it). Japans front end was much nicer.
Now the spy photos/press releases dont look like the next Skyline we expected. Its front end looks uglier than the preludes. That could have alot to do with the black paint. The rest of the car looks like a futuristic Skyline. The signature twin round brake lights and that nice dual exhaust really help out that rear end. The car seems nicely sculpted but that black section in the roof(funky t-top?) and the headlight housing is distracting. I cant tell whats going on in the mid frontal area, I hope it will be changed. Still over all i like the shape and would love to play with one. Is it still a twin turbo 6 or did they get that 8 into it?

I have come to the conclusion that they hire 5 year olds to design many of the new vehicles
