Linkin Park or Limp Bizkit?

I like Linkin Park Better.

Limp Bizkit was cool back in '97 when not many people knew about them. Today, they are a bunch of sell-outs and Wes Borland, the coolest member of the band, is gone. I wish him the best of luck.

As for Linkin Park, they do, in fact, rock.

Limp Bizkit should all be shot. They suck. Fred Durst is so annoying. Linkin Park isn't bad. Not my favorite, but not bad. One of the band members went to UCLA (the drummer I think), so they're ok in my book.

yeah that's sorta true. The reason why LP rocks is because their whole CD is just rockin'. And they actually are pretty thankful that napster was around (based on the interview they did on KROQ). They said that people would come up to them and tell them they downloaded their music and it rocked, so they went out and bought the record.

Yeah, Limp Bizkit is ok. I do like their noe song Boiler though. Its kinda neat. Lots of hate in the monkey.

I never really liked them, there music just had something that turned me off.

However Linkin has catchy toons and decent lyrics... yet they too will go by the way side, when RivTec and Sammi's Freshstylee Band comes out

Durst is too much of a wigger. He's trying to be black. Linkin park, on the other hand, kicks ass. Every song on their CD has an even mix of metal and hip hop, none are too much like rap. I think Linkin park is the beginning of a new sound, kind of like Nirvana was back in the early 90's

The last option was supposed to be the Neither Option. :P
The song "Outside" is actually Staind's song which "featured" Dursty. Personally, I like Staind's version without Dursty's talking and cussin' better.

I would have to say Linkin Park right now definately. I could still like Limp, but too much of their old stuff was/is way overplayed.

I'm a fan of Limp Bizkit. I like their music, I like the style of music they play. I also like Linkin Park. I like the dual singer thing, they mesh the rage/rap thing pretty well (if u don't think the one that isn't chester isn't rapping, u don't know what u are talking about, sorry, the boy is rapping) they are both great bands. Nuff Said on "me"s part (don't report me to the spelling polica cos i meant to do that :D)

Limp bizkit would be off the hook, if only Fred Durst can:

a) Rap. Honestly, he has the worst "flow," even for a white guy. He raps like Blondie, for crying out loud.

b) Write meaningful lyrics. Ok, after Nookie and all the other radio hits, all the songs sound the same, and Durst's lyrical content sound meaningless, even stupid.

c) Sing. His crooning sucks. Plain and simple. Sounds whiny and obnoxious (sp?).

However, the sounds and sonic textures that Limp Bizkit created (thanks to Wes Borland) is totally awesome.


So you look at the 3 points that I made, and find that Linkin Park dominates each. Mike Shinoda raps pretty well, although I find that whoever is behind the mixing board for their live shows should be shot! Mike's vocals and the DJ are way subdued. Yes, LP has deep lyrics, so deep infact that theres no cussing (in which Chester comments that they were looking for such the perfect lyrics, that they forgot to cuss. They were looking for something more expressive than "F-CK!!!") And Chester sings pretty well (at least not all nasal and whiny).

I guess Linkin Park rocks coz some of 'em are asian. ;)
