last minute halloween costume ideas

My girl and I want to go to a Halloween party tonight but neither of us have costumes yet. I don't want to spend too much(cheap ass) on my costume, so I was wondering if you guys know what kind of costumes are cheap and easy to put together for both me and my girlfriend?

Ehhh ok I guess we could do that. Seriously I know I blew it by waiting till the last minute. Have any of you ever thrown together a last minutes costume before?

yes-one year i quickly dressed up like a snowman. I wore a white turtleneck, white pants,white mittens and I picked up a roll of quilt batting at the craft store (it was only like 10 bucks for a big roll of it)...i covered my face with white face paint,tucked my hair up under a winter stocking cap,and drew black "coal" eyes and a mouth on with black mascara. I "rolled the batting around myself until I looked round enough" the corn cob pipe I found at a toy store left over from halloween. :)

Wear a brown garbage bag and cover it in Vaseline. Instant booger!

han solo and princess leia are pretty easy to pull off, actually...

han solo:
blue pants (if you wanna get fancy, you can sew a stripe down em in twenty minutes, just have to buy a $2 roll of wide red ribbon from a sewing store)
white or off-white button-down shirt with a mandarin collar
blue vest (you can find one similar to his in the hunting/fishing section of a walmart or something for like $15 - blue, scooped neck, a few pockets)
a belt with some sort of ray gun (i got a nice noise-makin ray gun at KB for $8)

princess leia: layers of flowing white clothes. i wore oversized men's tae kwon do pants, a white turtleneck, and i bought an xxl white tunic that i belted, put a ray gun in the belt... i dint even have a hood, and it looked good. of course, i dunno if your girl has the hair to pull off the big twists on each side of her head... that is the most important part of the costume... if her hair is at least shoulder-length, she can make it work with a lot of bobby pins and hairspray...

anyway, just a thought. good luck and have fun... and if y'all can't come up with costumes, you jsut may have to spend some time at home alone... oooo, the horror... :D

A gangster and his "broad."

If you have dark suit, wear that and some sun glasses and a mobster lookin hat (cheap at a thrift store). Your girl can just wear a nice dress and hang on your arm or something.

Men (people) in Black.

A couple I know pulled this off. They (guy and girl) both put on dark suits with white shirts and sunglasses and went as men in black. they had some toy guns for the "lasers" and just about anything you could find for the red-flashy-thing. A cigar holder works for that too.

Last year I was Garth from Wayne's world. All you need is a blond wig, a rock t-shirt, a plad shirt over that, and maybe some drumsticks. People were giving me props. The only thing you need to buy most likely is the wig.

Cool thanks for all the suggestions everyone. I'm still trying to figure out which one. I'm leaning towards mojo's suggestion. Maybe I'll go as "Pissed off Mexican guy". :)

i got one
when i was in 4th grade my brother and i dressed up as bums :D

just take a big ole jacket throw it in some dirt kick it around a lil do the samething to an old hat but not a baseball hat though i don't think bums where those...or maybe they do
