Friday night, the kids are with the grandparents, the wife is out with the girls, and all I want to do is listen to the blues and surf the web, I don't even feel like drinking, ok maybe a glass of wine.

I guess I'm officially an old man now.

Ahhh, but it's so nice not to have to witness chaos theory at its best.

I believe kids lead to premature aging, BTW, I'm 34 and I don't feel really old until I go to friends that don't have kids parties. Just can't / don't want, to hang like that any more.

Please have a beer for me, I much prefer beer anyway, and my lovely wife drank the last of the wine. So unless I get off of my lazy can and head to the beer distributer I'm sober tonight.

I am going to have an awesome weekend. :D My father-in-law just called and invited us to dinner tomorrow night. PLUS, said on Sunday afternoon, they will come pick up Josh (Ed, he's 3 :) ) and keep him all night! Then they'll bring him home after lunch on Monday. w00t! Yay for me! :D

Earlier I was PRAYING that Grandma would take mine for the night. Alas, no such luck. They are currently destroying the playroom and each other. Do concussions make you sleep???

Yaay, I'm jealous.

I too keep hoping for the slumber party, but it hasn't happened in over a month. I guess that's what I get for having very high energy kids.
