Well, since this is a software question, I would suggest that you take some time to peruse the Software & OS forum. You should find plenty of topics already addressing your question.

If that doesn't solve it for you, maybe you are a perfect candidate for Windows ME. :rolleyes:

just wondering, but are you trying to copy from an original cd, or are you trying to burn a warez copy. if youre burning a warez download, its probably just a bad download, warez sites arent alwayz the most reliable places to get software.

how come norton doesnt work 2k2???? it worked when i used xp

its just says script error

and explorer keeps on reseting i thought this was SUPPOSE TO BE A STABLE OS

maybe you have an incompatible program in there that keeps on freezin Explorer, then XP will just automatically restart it for you so you dont have to reboot.

I have XP and ALL of those programs work on mine and I haven't had a problem with NortonAV either. I think you may just want to reinstall your programs a be sure to download the updates.:cool:

are you using an iso image thing to burn it or going cd to cd. cd to cd works find more me and my friends, its the more legal way of stealing, if its some warez iso chances are its been screwed with, IMHO i wouldnt use a warez program to run my comp.

A more legal way of stealing? :D Never heard of a less illegal way of stealing, but either way there is very little chance of you being prosecuted. the biggest targets, as in pirated videos, are people who sell pirated warez. and not just sell, but (i only know of this for cetain on videos) only if someone is selling more than $1000 worth a day. companies and the justice department (?, not sure which departmen handles illegal software) do not have the money, manpower or resources to handle all the small warez.

and i agree with you, i also wouldnt run any os that i got off of a warez site, nor would i run any warez virus scanner or firewall. you just dont know if they will work properly.
