I used a theme made by Nu Tea called alpha something, you can go here (http://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=3) and search for it. I added stuff to it to suit me better.

yeah...i found this proggy called "Microangelo 5.5" i can convert the icon to a gif....and then use photoshop to convert to a diff size and bmp. what i can't figure out is how to make the bmp transparent...

If you were to open a bmp file that is already used by desktopx, you'd notice that they color the parts a bit purple pink and doing so will make that part transparent.

Well yeah, I gave you the color below, it should be one of the colors in the ms-paint palate, if not just save it to your comp and use the eyedropper thing. What it does is desktopx will make whatever you color with that color transparent, so you put it around your icons and stuff.
