ok, i'm getting curious enough about this deal that even I am posting. I tried getting in on the staples deal (about the same time that everyone else did, but all of the coupons didn't work for me... (insert standard staples sob story here). Alright. Let us all just hope that Apex can work his standard magic and get us the best deal that we could ever imagine (including the staples sham).

Two products to try:

98lite at http://www.98lite.net strips all kinds of components from 98/ME, like the media player and IE5. Powerquest (www.powerquest.com) makes a product called Drive Image Pro which you can use to create an exact drive image and store it elsewhere and just load it on a blank hard drive when needed. The nice thing @ Drive Image is that you can use it to create bootable CD images for a quick, unattended load.
I use Drive Image at work, and I'm very happy with it.

Pretty useful if I do say so myself :P

My first post was when our listserve got the Navidad virus, I got like 20 copies of it in my Inbox. I came looking to G|A for help:

If this is old news I apologize but I have received 5 emails in the last 20 minutes with the attachment Navidad.exe in it.I did not run the program but I'm think its a virus(duh for you super computer nerds). I can't delete the attachments though is there some way to do it? I hope this helps some people even if its not new.
