I'm REALLY mad.
I just got back from my walk (to get my morning paper)..and I noticed upon return to my house that someone stole 3 of my pumpkins that I had set near my side porch awaiting my carvings of lady liberty,GW,the flag etc....it took me OVER AN HOUR to find these perfect pumpkins. I don't think it was a prankster because if so I think they would be smashed instead of just missing (there are still two pumpkins left)...the next door neighbors had a ton of company last night-maybe some of them swiped them..All I know is that it really makes me mad. The largest pumpkin cost me over 15 dollars and weighed about 50 pounds, the others were about 30 pounds each..I go all out for the kids on halloween and I really HATE when stupid people have to ruin it.

I think shooting them would be a little over the top. But still that was a low thing to do. They were efectively stealing from children. That is so low. We should castrate them to keep them from breeding. Maybe you should go ask your neighbors if they saw anything. Let them know how much it hurt you. If they know that one of their guests did it, they probably won't give them up, but you can drop a little extra guilt on them.

that sucks!
one of the arsehole surveyors that i work with was telling me about how he and his friends used to steal and smash pumpkins. I yelled at him and told him it wasn't cool and I didn't particularly care to hear about the mean and illegal activities he participated in if it hurt children. i think he was taken aback, and he hasn't said a word to me since then. oh well.

i live out in the boon docks...so there's a bunch of pumpkin patches and pumpkins sellers out on the roads i drive everyday...just the other day, i saw one patch that had 1/2 the pumpkins smashed...looked like a battlefield, i more or less associate holloween with lil bastid kids and their deviant behavior.

Pardon my mistake. However, a "regular" size bar of the composition your are describing (from Walgreens) would have GIANT repercussions . Highly irregular (pun intended :D) size for that stuff. :heh:
