LOL, they should've banned that crew from the whole automotive industry.

I was surprised to see rubbermaid started makes trucks. That damn thing is ugly. GM has the worst design team i have ever seen. Aztec, Rendevous, Avalanche, Vibe.

If you havent seen the vibe, here it is:
http://www.pontiac.com/vibe/vibe_landing.html

its like a small asstec. Such a piss poor design.

that aztec team, either they don't know how to design cars or they're being payed off by GM's competitors

Imagine how many dead dinosaurs it takes to fuel those things...

I'd rather have the Avalanche concept applied to the S-series pickups.

I think theres a reason you can find a Land Cruiser on almost every terrain on this planet and not a Chevy:P. The Tahoe is a great truck, but trucks like the Land Cruiser are much more versatile. i know this through personal experience.

I think it is that way just because American Trucks don't get exported as much....

true, most of the time we just drive on the road anyway. but for me, its still the cruiser. i hear the mercedes g-wagon can do better than a hummer, and its supposed to be comeing stateside in `03 w/o any tarriffs. ill probably never buy a truck anyway, i like fast german cars :D.

Pretty much...the Gelandewagen, along with the land rover defender, discovery, and so on and so forth are used in different variations all over the world for different applications

I know all three of those vehicles have pontoon attachments for floating/driving down/up rivers. But, i'm guessing you won't see those options available in the US....darn.

Bah! If you've seen the Blackwood, that's the proper execution of the Avalance idea.

Still, for my money, the Escalade is the SUV of choice. I don't think there's anything more badass looking on the road today than a black-on-black 'Sclade with 22's.

Hey, that's insulting! You at least have to count the good 49% of US consumers that purchased a pickup truck and/or SUV for the mere factor of conspicuous consumption.

Hey, our SUVs can smash your European Ford Focus (european midsize family vehicle) or Vauxhall/Opel Vectra to oblivion......if we had enough gas to get there in the first place. :D

Anyways, as some G|A? people say.... I think they're all jealous. I think you're jealous (J/K) :heh: , I think the animals are just jealous that we can kill their habitation faster than they can do it themselves.

OC- Otherwise, I agree with you :)

Thats why my truck can run on e-85. I thank ford for implementing the e-85 engines in some of their vehicles.
