I'm lookin at larger screen LCD's, just researchin, and it seems like the limit for the resolution is 1280x1024...
is there any reason for that?
I like higher resolutions - 16x12...and if that's the limit for LCD's...seems kinda limiting... :(

They're out there - the LCD on the Dell Latitude C810 does 16x12 (not that that helps you if you're looking for a desktop monitor), and for the low price of $17k, IBM has a 22" LCD that will go up to 3840x2400...

The SGI 17" panel can handle some insane resolutions. I'm too tired to find a spec sheet however. :(
