you study your butt off for a test on the day of the test......but it turns out u look at the schedule wrong and the test isn't till next week :(

well..yeah...it happened to me....it sucks... :P

it;s worse when it creeps up unexpected. I thought I had a week for one test and then i found out it was the next day. I was still above the average in an engineering class, so I'm fine.:D

when i did that, i wound up studying twice, and then got a better grade cuz i knew the stuff better.

Whoooa. You'd better be careful basing any assumptions on something like that. Before you know it, you'll have some poor students believing that studying can actually improve grades. Preposterous! :hmm: :heh:

I once showed up for a final exam an hour after it was over, had to take the test in the department head's office.

That happened to my daughter, too. She had confused the time for a final, and when she got to the examination room she noticed that nobody looked familiar. She had trouble getting hold of anybody for a while and was really freaked. It ended up that one of the department secretaries had a copy of the exam and let her take it in the office. The prof came in while whe was taking it and was quite understanding.
