Help. Audio Problems.

So it just started 4 days ago. Everytime I play a CD the CD volume on the volume control panel goes to 0. I raise it up to max so I can hear the music and it lasts until the next song on the CD, then goes back to 0. So if I wanna listen to a CD, I have to re-raise the volume after every song. It's not Windows Media player nor the seakers, just on the volume control panel and only for CD audio. DVDs work fine. Just that blasted CD audio control. I did a virus scan but nothing found. Help me!!

I am not sure what is the problem too. Anyway did you install any sound or audio software? Can you end all the task (systray and explorer remind) Did you install any CD software? If still no clue, try install windows on top (if you are using Win9x)
