Hi girls.
I don't know how many of you remember the flower thread I posted a while ago, but ever since, I know I can always count on all of you ladies for great gift ideas. I'm posting here cause if I post in the OT forum 90% of the replies I get are the silly fellas over there wise crackin'. (Don't tell them I said this though!! ;) )
Well, I have these 2 really nice female friends (both age 25) who are working at this advertising firm. To make a long story short, the company is busting their asses with endless projects and ridiculous underpaid overtime work. They are always complaining about how they're about to die from being overworked. I'm meeting them for lunch in a couple days and I really want to cheer them up with some sort of present. I need some sort of care-package idea. I'm flying so it can't be too large. Any good ideas? I need some cute, warm and fuzzy ideas!!! I want to make these girls feel better and at the same time make them LOVE me!! :D

head to bath and body works and get some nice smelly lotions and body wash. They have gift baskets already prepared too.
You can pick up a girlie movie for them too and pack up some See's chocolate and some microwave popcorn and get a cheap bowl at Walmart or Target and make your own.
Take them out to eat and to see a movie. Surprise them with flowers.

Hey thanks Chrissy for you ideas. Unfortunately, I'm temporarily overseas at the moment and the don't have Bath and Body works or See's here!! :P The other thing is, they're sooo busy that I really can't spend much time with them. So it's just gonna be their short lunch break that I'm gonna see them. I'm gonna have to come up with something more generic and universally available... flowers seems like a great idea. Now I just need to look for some nice flowers... Thanks.

Bubble bath or bath oils would be a nice guesture, as would a massaging device. :thumb:

HAHA!! Maybe for my wife in the future!!
And hey coleslaw, Bath oils...that's a great idea!! Hey, and maybe some aromatherapy products too!! cool!
What about a real massage? If you are familiar with their area maybe you could get them a GC for a 1/2 hour massage. What a great friend you are!!

i know when i'm stressed out, any gift at all just seems so cool.
the best, most unrealistic gift would be a cute furry animal like a kitten or puppy.
realistically, flowers are cool. or a cd full of songs that are fun and upbeat to make doing the work that much better.
