here's mine... sorry it's so fuzzy, but it's hard to take a pic of my own back with a webcam... it was $90 in kentucky :D took four hours and i discovered what a wuss i am about pain... the squeezie stress-ball the guy gave me was permanently deformed and would not expand back into shape when i was done with it. teach me to get a tattoo while sober...

well i dont have ne real tatoos but the other day i took a pen and drew a skull n cross bones and wrote "skull bitch" under it and then on the other arm i drew a skeleton riding a motorcycle and it said "death ridaz"

haha i just just joking around but they were pretty funny tatoos

Chosen: you need more than a good artist.. i mean that is a helpful thing.. but not the only thing... get some you feel comfortable with, check out their "flash book" aka a book of their work that they have already done, DO NOT just walk into some place without doing research or what have you.... just some helpful advice

mine is on my back, pretty far to the left - i wanted it in the middle, over the spine, but this was when my back was so messed up that i was pretty sure i'd need surgery to correct it, and i dint want the docs to slice the artwork. the tail dips a bit below the waistband of my underwear, but it's all on my back, and not my butt. ;)

well, since chosen talked about his tat "to be" i'll talk about mine. it'd be my chinese name (3 characters) covered in black flames on my upper right arm right on the muscle. symbolizm??? chinese name cause i'm chinese (duh) and covered in black flames, cause my left arm is burned, so i have to equate both arms with a burn.

eventually i might put a curious george on the backside of my shoulder blade. just to show my playful side...i can relate to the damn monkey, he's basically me damnit.

I don't have a better picture of the ones on my leg (they are actually two seperate tattoos gotten almost 3 years apart :P)
The one on my arm is apprenetly too graphic and geocities has taken it down (le pout). It's a Coop drawing. He's my second favorite artist (behind Giger). Anyways, once i find a place to host the tattoo on my arm with the original (so u can see them side by side) i will put it up....

What I want is a daisy with a lady bug for each kiddo (2) crawling on the petals. And I want one flying away for the one we lost.

I have always wanted one on my belly around my belly button that says "Made in Japan" :) but I have been told that it's hard to get one there cuz of breathing movements.

those sound cool... My Aunt has two, each right above her ankles, adn u can still tell what they are...

The stomach ones are harder to get, because of breathing, and well.. most people don't like having some people then don't know stretching their belly around as far as it will go AND THEN stabbing them with a motorized needle...

My G/F (G|A? :P) has 5, one right above her ankle (yellow moon), a brilliantly done butterfly on her left breast (5 colors and it's the size of a quarter) a fairy sitting on a cresent moon on her left shoulder blade, and two Asian dragons in a semi tribal pattern on her lower back (I don't have pictures, of all of them... but i'm in the process :P)

when i bought a quiksilver backpack it came with this stencil of a skateboarder, surfer, quiksilver logo, and the word quiksilver in a cool font. Well i was looking at the letters: Q U I K S I L V E R to see if there were ne words i could make it. I used the L I Q U R and and L and another l turned upside down and around and connected it to make an O so on my right arm in big letters i have written: LIQUOR hahaah it was pretty funny.... then it got washed off. I guess thats why they dont use ball point pen for real tatoos:P

hrmm ever hear of a "jailhouse tattoo"? there are variations of it, but basically someone "Scratches" u (read: cuts u deep enough to scar) then they take a heated ball point pin and trace the "scratch" which gives it it's color, which also why most of them look like ****e and fade really badly.... besides the fact a lot of people get sick from that much ink running through their blood stream...

Either a manual tattoo needle (a needle with thread wrapped around it near the tip to hold the ink) or a hand built electric one with parts built from whatever they could steal. Some of them were very nice, but all were made with only the one type of ink, no colors.

southern illinois university's school of dental med has a "history of dentistry" museum... it includes some macguyver-style electric jailhouse tattoo needles made from parts ripped from the in-house dentist's equipment... scary lookin. kind of unnerving to have to stare and that stuff before going into the lecture hall every day...

Like i said i've heard a few different ways (the one listed above was the harshest :P) and i've seen two different colors, but well they all ended up looking the same.... using a blue or black pen
