Looks like I will be playing this all afternoon. I did buy the first simcity 3000, but unlimited has lots of cool new landscapes, plants, and buildings. Definately worth the $30.
worth $30?
for software?
Excuse my satirical laugh, haha

Now, here you are throwing accusations before you have all the information. You are putting words in their mouth.
You are judging others without adequate evidence. Is that right?
Thanks for being better than the rest of us.
Oh, I think this belongs in the Games forum.

Never mind me, I am just the SIP remember. Oh, and what more information do I need? They have already said that they pirated the software.
i treat my software like i treat my mp3... i d/l what i want and if i really like it, i go out and buy it, if i don't like it, GET THE HELL OF MY SYSTEM.... i see no reason to go out and buy a 50 dollar program if it's not going to do what i want, or what i need it to.. cause then i need to go back and exchange it, and get some stupid store credit (if they even want to exchange it, cause it's opened) sorry.. funk that noise...

But only after you had convicted them with no evidence whatsoever. They can be replying in sarcasim which would mean that they did not pirate it, just that they think it is overpriced.

hey, think of it this way:
software is way too expensive.
once i buy computer hardware, i have no money left over for software.
if i didnt have "specially aquired software" i would have no reason to by computer hardware.
so, in theory, buy using speial aquired software, i am benifiting the computer hardware makers. If i didnt have that software, then the hardware makers would be that much poorer.
of course, this isnt saying aquiring software in a special way is right, but i guess its how i rationalize it.
also, something interesting. when i bro. was interested in starting his video business, i aquired for him over $5000 in software (video editing etc). Well, he used it, but only until he could afford to purchase it. IF i hadn't gotten him the "special version" first, then he could have never started a business and then purchased the software for real. So, i wonder what the software companies think about that...
