I'm all for good teams and a good series and all, but the last 3 years... *gag* it was soo boring.. hell i only watched one of the games last year (Clemmens throwing the bat at PizzaHead, ahh so good) I'm glad to see a new team raise up, and show that the unstoppable team can be stopped... I'm glad..

in all honesty... i hate baseball, hockey is boring, and basketball is lame. I like football (but don't expect to get into an arguement with me, cause i so don't care that much :P) I'm a 49er fan (always have been, even when they only won 4 games in a season... i think it was my rebellious tendencies :D) I'm a major Volleyball fan (indoor, and Beach w00t!), and i actually like watching soccor... Wow what a series. I thought it was incredible; the best World Series I can remember seeing in a long time. Can't take anything away from the Dbax they beat the best reliever in playoff history. You gotta tip your hat for that. And what makes a dynasty team so much more interesting than a first time winner, beating a dynasty team? Nothing, in my opinion. If anything it is better when an underdog takes it to a dynasty team and pulls off the unexpected.

Regardless of who you were rooting for, I think baseball season ended this year about as well as you can want it to. 7 games filled with close decision, pitching duels, and unexpected heroics. Kick a$$. :thumb:

they had a bitchin rivalry like three years ago, back in the day of coffee and yzerman and forsberg n the whole gang. Memeber that one game where the ref dropped the puck for the beginning of the game and all hell broke loose in a massive brawl? that was awesome:cheers:

but their rivalry went beyond the ice which was kinda sad with the whole limo accident thing:(

Kudos to the D-Backs, they played a great series . . . I'm just peeved with the way they won . . . they didn't beat Mariano's pitching, they beat him on a throwing error to second base. Ugh . . . such a difference between man on first with one out and man on first and second with no outs . . . that's what killed the Yanks.

Uhh, no. Even if Colangelo wanted to dismantle the team (a la the Marlins) he can't cuz everyone is under contract for next year. If they could drop Matt Williams, Jay Bell, etc... they would, but unfortunately they can't.
