saw the new jet li movie...I'm glad his English is getting better.
kind of a cheezy movie...but can't expect too much from his American films yet...i thought it was better than Romeo Must Die and Kiss of the Dragon.

bah ! this movie kinda looked silly. this is more of a $4 blockbuster night movie as opposed to a $20 go to the theater night movie

the special effects were like the matrix, but I think Kiss of the Dragon was way better movie overall.

Ya, it was pretty much a technology showboat, but the effects were awesome.

Well, it had a better plot and dialoge, at any rate, but the fight scenes in the One were better overall.

yea but the movie was so cheap and cheesy though, i was like when will this end? and DMX should not be allowed on the big screen, i am still amazed at how bad he was.

This movie was absolute CRAP!! Jet Li supposedly has some decent martial arts skills. I don't understand WHY he is doing this matrix special effects crap. They over-use the matrix style "slow motion action" effect so much that the fighting totally loses all it's power. Talk about desensitization!! I would need a razor blade through my eye to feel any visual stimulation at all. Even Keanu Reeves and Lawrence Fishburne (two kung fu masters I must say!! ) did better fight scenes in the Matrix, thanks to a great coreographer. If you want to take your kids to a kid movie they might like this one, but if you're over 8 years of age and want to see some actual fighting, save your 8 bucks and go see the Iron Monkey. It still uses a lot of wires, but it doesn't fail to show off the amazing physical abilities of its actors. And try to see it in the theaters. The sound effects make it so much better than the DVD.
Die Jet Li DIE!!
