icq 2001b beta came out yesterday... :D :cool:


downloading now.... but i was wonderign why does it say "time limited beta"? :dodgy: :confused:

Actually its been out since last tuesday. Its pretty sweet. I like it.

geez I never figured out how to use ICQ, it's way too flashy and has too many buttons. Kinda intimidating... Actually the only times I've used it was back when I was evil and puttin sub7 servers on my friends computers. THen whenever they come online the server would send their IP over ICQ. Ah the (evil) good days...:bigmouth:

i never liked icq, it seemed like it made me more valnurable to hackers and bombers and idiots. strangly enough, my paranoid cousin in switz will only use icq. i stopped using it cause everybody on my list was converted to aim-ers

I love ICQ! Been a user since waaaay back in the day. AIM on the other hand can kiss my a$$. It wont get anywhere near my computer.

ICQ was and sorta still is the shiznit. It's too bad that as soon as AOL took over icq, it became bloated and memory hogging.

my original account was like 5 digits... then like 4 years ago i lost the info for that account and started a new one... is still use that one, its 7 digits. I also made another on for my laptop when i got it. that one is 9 digits.

I never liked AIM or icq. they get on my nerves if I had to pick one though, it woud be icq cuz I used it back in the day when it first started. that's how I got my forst MP3s 5 years ago. A guy down the hall from me icq'd them to me. that was the reason I got it in the first place.

I have to agree. It sucks, because when someone messages me, It doesn't blink on their name in my list. It just puts up their message under all my windows. Sucks... There are other little things, too. I may try and figure out how to go back to the last version.
