So half of cape cod is without power for some reason. Most of my work is done on a computer, and without power, there is no computer. The phone system is also down because of the lack of power. So we sat around the office doing nothing for 3 hours.
Then my boss decided to send me to do some field work since there was no power in the office (thats the suckage part). Its cold and windy and I don't want to be outside! So now I'm at home on my way out to the middle of no where to gps.
Wonder how long it'll be before power is back on.

I I had no lines sending in millions of electrons to keep me all warm and fuzzy. . . I would see no purpose in life, hehe.

What's the big deal about having a blackout? We got them all the time last summer. Think of it as a tram building exercise, or a good chance to get some sleep under your desk. The trick is have something plugged in to wake you up. A radio or something.
