I am trying to reinstall ME on a clean drive and I get a message when it starts to copy the files to the disk.
The message is:
KERNEL: Unable to initialize heap
Any ideas on how to get through this?

Your welcome.
I just have to say that google is amazing.
I just did a search on "KERNEL: Unable to initialize heap" and it gave me that link.

Just to tell you...personally I really don't like ME. Try using XP I think this Os is the best that MS has made.

If I didn't have so much crap I'm too lazy to copy -I'd dump this ME and re-install 98...My advice to anyone who uses ME..NO! NO NO...on the other hand, I enjoy reformatting and fdisking like it's no one's business..so maybe I will dump ME and get XP..
