is anyone selling a laptop?

i need a laptop for a friend, who ONLY wants a laptop to play mahjong on it. she's willing to pay up to $300 for a laptop, and no, it doesn't have to come with a mahjong game installed, but would appreciate any sugggestions for what's a good mahjong prog.

thanks

I have an old p120 ibm thinkpad 560.

I'll sell cheap <$300. It includes extra ram (40mb total, I think) and an extra battery.

How about a apple newton? Smaller and more portable than a laptop, and better geekbait if shes into that kinda thing.....
Cheaper too!
But no color:-(

I've got a toshiba satelite 1625CDT if you're interested. I think it's a 475MHZ machine. It has a bad floppy drive and the cover plate is missing off the cd-rom drive, but the cd-rom drive works fine. e-mail me if you're interested.

Here's a question:

I'm looking for a notebook to stick in my car to play MP3's. I obviously need an video out plug (RCA style), so that kind of limits me...or does it? Does anyone know if you can turn a standard out to a computer monitor into an RCA video out easily?

Here's another question: what does it take to run Winamp properly? I won't be running anything else, 'cept NT4.0 to be compatible with my work network (for downloads). The processor in the computer I'm going to be using is a fuerte P2-266...will that cut it? I don't know what the RAM's going to look like, but I will assume about 32 megs.

Roniman: mahjong games: try http://www.mame.dk/

Pennypinch: radioshack sells cables that allow 3.5mm headphone jacks to connect to rca cables. I do this for my imac. Of course this goes into my amp, so i do not know how it will affect channel splitting in your car.

here from my thread:
I have a acernote light model 350pc. It has a 773hdd, a p120 cpu, floppy, sound, monitor out, 32mb memory, and comes with a external cd reader. The cd reader is a nec multispin xp3 model with the power cord and works great. The lap top also comes with the power cord, battery (lasts 2 hours), and a bag. The unit has windows 3.1 on it and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to load the driver off 95 to get the cdr working. It is in like new condition. There is NOTHING wrong with it in any way. I will take best offer or trade or combination of the 2. If I am to put a price on it would be somewhere in the 175-200 range. Very nice can take pictures if REALLY interested in it. You can email me here ([email protected]) or for faste response msn messenger me with my email name ([email protected])
