i was wondering if there is n e way to spray paint it??? black and what would happen?

Yep, just take off the bezel and paint away like the tagger you want to be.

i just want my cd rom and my cd rewrite to be black

so i can just take off the cover and thats it?

The bezel is the plastic part of your computer that sits right in the front.

If you want to paint the cd rom face, the front part of the tray should be able to snap out in most models. The rest you have to take off from the drive itself. Spray paint will work, but some tend to smudge off after a while from daily use. Try Vinyl color, I've read that it's better than spray paint.


A tagger is that person who made the grafitti on the wall you saw on the way to work last week.

Oh yeah, by the way surface preparation is crucial in order to get a good finish. Make sure it's clean, no dirt, oil, nuttin.

it's sprays on, also known as "vinyl dye"

I have never done this. . . but wouldn't putting on primer than painting it work too? And not using a gloss paint?
