for any of you interested in the stamps.com deal... i just received my 10 lb. digital scale yesterday in the mail and i've used up about $10 of my free $50 worth of stamps.. definietly something to try...

any of you who are just signing up to stamps.com now, and not taking any referral links, there is a special referral program that they are running that has some definite benefits (like 10 dollars for every person you refer and lots of awesome freebies that you would not believe), but you have to be invited into the program to join, so you can't just sign up on your own. You can e-mail me at [email protected], and i'll send you the invitation to join the program.

I just signed up and have questions. Hope someone can answer them:
1. Do I have to be approved by USPS first to get my free postage from stamps.com?
As you know, they say that I have to be approved by USPS about something, I forgot what, but there is something about getting approved from USPS.
2. When will you see the free postage posted to you account?

I know they give out free scale but don't you have to pay a $3.50 (not sure the exact amount) monthly fee to get that scale?
Or you have to sign up to a program or something like??

to get the scale you need to be a Power USer for a month (at least) which has a $15.99 fee...

Actually in the gotapex deals, they have a link to get $60.00 in free postage. I signed up for that, however I was still given $50.00 of free postage only...I have emailed them regarding this already today. I hope gotapex could answer this for me.

yeah.. u have to be a power user but i signed up for a free month... i signed up on the 1st of this month and got the email to get my scale on the 10th, filled it out and got it yesterday... (still within my free trial period)
all i ahve to do now is near the end of the month to cancel and i shouldn't be charged.. i haven't been charged yet, or at least i don't think i have been...

Does anybody know if we have to return the scale? I've been using it for free Shipping for eBay stuff I've been getting rid of. It's a nice scale, and if I have to send it back might as well print the postage to send it back haha.
