How do you flash BIOS (awardBIOS) under Windows 2000 OS?

make win98 boot disk......... www.bootdisk.com
copy bin file to another disk... procede with instruction from, most likely I think your board is ABIT or ASUS

Okay two ways:
1. get a camera and make sure flash is one and *poof* done.
2. strip nekkid and get a trench coat on. Then sneak up to the mobo and whip it free.
heheh *ahem* what? Oh you REALLY do want to flash your mobo. . . well I believe you usually d/l the file and put it on a floppy, shut down your sys. Jam that floppyin and flip the switch. Should boot up to the floppy and flash up the bios.

remember to boot to DOS prompt. you want an unadultrated system boot up so not to interfer with your flash or else.......
make sure u back up ur old BIOS before you proceed! the award program will ask you to save it or not.

I know how to flash BIOS under Win98 but not under Win2k. Win98 boot disk is still required huh? :rolleyes:

YES......I have W2K way back.....to flash I needed a boot disk.
