and the box says that the performance:


1.6 GigaTexel Fill Rate
>2.5 Million Triangles/sec
5.3GB/sec Memory Bandwith

It says geforce 2 Ti

but the bandwith is the same as a Pro...it SHOULD BE 6.4GB/sec

Use cool bits (http://www.geforcefaq.com/faq.cgi) hack to see what videocard is clocked at (and also to overclock). This adds a tab to the Nvidia display control panel. A GeForce 2 Ti will be clocked higher or lower than a Pro, GTS or Ultra.

Download and use http://www.guru3d.com/rivatuner/ This is also great for tweaking your Geforce card.

Use powerstrip http://www.entechtaiwan.com/ps.htm

asslips, the memory bandwidth WONT be the same as on a geforce 2 pro it will be lower. Im not sure whats crippled on a gf 2 ti but isnt it basically a geforce 2 mx on crack? so memory bandwidth problems remain resident

The core clock is correct. The Memory clock is not correct. The memory speed is supposed to be 400 Mhz (200Mhz DDR).

well i took the fan apart

and saw teh chip itself

it read

NVIDIA

The rams were Samsung 136
k4D623238B QC50
UHE313QA Korea

How come on the chip it didnt the the symbol Ti...

and when i installed it the clock settings were 250/358 - manufaured settings
