computer all ****ed up. REALLY NEED HELP!

this is what i am saying to my computer right now, "**** YOU!! I don't need this crap right now!"

anyways, I was changing the video card settings in a video game and things went awry. I changed the resolution up some, and then i get a BSOD. So I'm thinking a DLL or registry is ****ed up. when i boot up, i can force it to use generic vga drivers so i can see things, but when i use my video card drivers, i can see a blank screen and my mouse. I tried re-installing my drivers, and that didn't do anything.

can anyone help?! anything, a suggestion, a comment (rude one and i'll snap at you. I'm on a short fuse right now), anything!

ok, i need to sleep now. i have a midterm early in the morning.

What OS? There is a registry key you can use to set your display resolution and pixel depth; your system may be trying to get to the funky resolution the game was in.

If I tell it to change to any resolution, it'll change the screen to black and the only thing i'll be able to see is my cursor. :(

Do you have an integrated video in your mobo that you can use, you can switch to that and remove/reinstall your voodoo.

That's my problem solver for anything whenever someone asks me to fix their comp. Along w/ the additional... partition your drive so that next time formatting will be a snap!...
