For the sake of those of us that are at "ebay protected" work sites, what makes this particular sale "funny"?

Can you pull out of eBay auctions? I've never used eBay. I think someone should run up the price simply because it would be funny.

This reminds me of the eBay auction where someone sold something like "SomeProduct, New Condition, Box" and the buyer ended up getting an empty box.

Quoted from Ebay page
You are bidding on an "X"box. This package includes : 1) An "X"box Pictured below. 2) A controller. 3) a wire. **FROM A SMOKE AND PET FREE HOME**This is a very cool item. Buyer pays actual shipping charges. I accept payments in Money Orders/Well Concealed Cash. I am not responsible for cash lost in the mail. Serious bidders only :-) . I will contact you when the auction has completed. Happy Bidding. *Note this is an auction not for a microsoft xbox ,it was professionally made by me. hmm guess the name is some type of coincidences.

Gee must be a coincidence that its called an x box. since it is "professionally" made by the seller and he is selling it, couldnt microsoft sue him for copyright infringment?

That is like my sale! I would take a picture of a Hemmi and sell for dirt cheap, put excellent condition, resotred recently, AS IS... then take a picture of the picture, and sell for 800-1000

the bidding would go thru the roof, I would say ships same day overnight! cash my check, and ship same day express! Who Cares how much that costs!

:heh: its now at $127.50 i guess people arent really reading the description hahahaha

or people are just running the score up one 'em. i mean no one thinks an x-box is going to sell for only $127.

maybe..but theres 6 days left till the end of the auction...but what you said also makes sense too, didnt think of that at first..kinda like the voodoo card a few months back hahahaha

did you bid on it evil-will?

I wonder if he'd send a note with the "product" telling the buyer how dumb they are?

Ya, they would be dumb if they already miss the "note" on the auction.

how could you be that stupid to put up that kind of money ($127+) for crap like that. i can see bidding w/out reading the description if it's $1, but when it's over $100, you have to be crazy.

Ebay ups your bid automatically everytime someone outbids you, that way you only have to put in the maximum you want to bid. This bidder must've put in a higher amount, except no one is outbiding the current one yet.
