How do i remove a heatsink, Its just the origonal one that came with the processor. I couldn't figure it out, or was it that I just didn't want to break anything...

With great care... just take off the clips that are holding it down to the mobo. What kind of proc you have?

dont worry to much, if it was an athlon / duron you would have to be careful of the core, p3 are a little bit more resilient

I've never used one of the newer pentiums, but isn't there a certain heatsink/fan clip that actually clips/screws onto the mobo instead of the socket?

ive never used newer pentiums either, but i think you are talking about a p4 heatsink.
