you cant, aol sucks donkey balls and wants you to use thier proprietary software cuz they are lames. you just cant. and they have no plans to change this. aol's palm apps require a wireless handheld (palm vii or omnisky) or one with a modem. you cant sync aol mail with palm desktop. sorry

hmm, ok, well do you know to "ghost" e-mail addresses...like when you send an american greetings e-card or something, and when the recipient gets it, is shows that its from ur e-mail address, but you just sent it through the american greetings webpage..does any e-mail company do that?

another question..is there a way to have AOL forward all mail to another account?

gr, ok well ive decided that AOL doesnt want me to use their mail on my palm pilot, so im gonna go w/ hotmail i suppose. im trying it right now, and it seems that i can only send mail, i dont receive it. i have hotmail set up through outlook express 5.0, and i can send and receive messages on there, but only send messages on my palm..for some reason the inbox is always empty.

I'm no expert, but this whole Palm things sounds like a big hassle to me. I mean if you don't have a modem on it, why have email on it?

set up your hotmail account in outlook (express), then set palm desktop to sync with outlook (expess)

check your outgoing pop settings, maybe you misspelled something. ive never used hotmail via pop3. try yahoo, IMHO yahoo does a much better job than HM.

sounds like too much work (and money) for me. I'm just a college student, I don't need all that. enjoy it though.

the only money you pay is the cost of your palm pilot, plus electricity to run your computer, and internet, all of which i assume you pay for anyways.
