S: Weather Forecasts

Before I went to bed last night the forcast called for Sunny. When I got up this morning it said Mostly Sunny. And now it says Partly Sunny.

This is not "forecasting" people! This is called "nowcasting". If I wanted a Nowcast I'd poke my head out the damn window.

How the hell do meteorologists manage to stay employed?? Morons, all!

Poking your head out the window is an excelent method of telling the current weather, and is highly reccomended.

Predicting the weather has too many variables to accurately predict every time. I expect 80% accuracy from the weather service. That means they are wrong 1 time in 5.
You have to understand that they are making an educated guess and plan accordingly.

On november 11, sfgate.com was reporting that during the week of Nov 12-16, everyday would be rainy. Not a single drop landed the entire week.
