Suckage: Windrivers

OK, am I the only one who didn't know this? I go to one of my normal "gotta find this driver" sites today and bang..this is what I get:

Announcing...The WinDrivers Advantage!
WinDrivers is changing. With the exception of the home page and the message boards, WinDrivers is no longer free. You'll find the same content but a paid subscription will be required.

What kinda sorry @%#$@*%& is this...I'm bent!

Was this fairly recent? Seems like I just went to the site not long ago. I musta missed the announcement. Sheesh. And they're not cheap either...$60/year. Sorry, but it looks like I just lost one of my prime information sources. Hmph. :angry:

I've removed Windrivers from my Favorites list. Considering that all they really are is a searchable list of links to driver downloads, I can't imagine ever paying for such a thing.

Oh, and that "Announcing...The WinDrivers Advantage!" nonsense... What, are we supposed to feel privileged that we now have to pay for the bloody thing? Kiss off.

Yeah I saw Windrivers was charging a few days ago when looking for a Voodoo driver.
