You are bidding on the picture of the BRAND NEW XBOX. The XBOX is the BRAND NEW video game system by MICROSOFT. You do not get the actual system, just a picture of the BRAND NEW XBOX. The picture is printed on computer paper and SHIPPING IS FREE. Again, this is not an auction for the XBOX, but for a picture of the BRAND NEW XBOX! PAYPAL AND MONEY ORDER ACCEPTED!!
they give clear warning, so if people think they're gettin the real thing, it's their own fault. probably just running it up as usual.

It only takes a few suckers. That is really pathetic. I hope they catch on before sending the money. It really is deceitful.
Wish I had thought of it...

unfortunately enough, I thought of doing the same thing after I saw that action... I mean cmon, $300 bucks for a sheet of paper. But then again, it's a really screwed up thing to do. Good conscience wins again!

nope, i wouldn't do something like that, there's already enough scamming and rip offs out there. Sure there is the nice big warning displayed, but what if the bidder doesn't know english or something. It's still a wrong thing to do.
if they don't know english, they should be auctioning on a english site....

Just a question, would anyone here buy from a seller who has "Sold me a picture instead of the real thing" in their feedback? I know that it was clearly stated as a picture in the auction, but it still implies a sense of "scamming" people.

Dude, if i ever fell for a scam like that i'd just send the seller a picture of 320 dollars :D

I say if you fall for something that clearly says a PICTURE, you deserve to lose the money.... a fool and his money are soon parting (no not partying).
And it's not a scam because he is selling a picture, and he will send a picture, so you get what you pay for, unless of course he doesn't send you the picture, or sends it on like notebook paper

If the quality of the picture is not near to the quality of the image displayed, she has some recourse. The guy had better have a photo quality printer if he expects to get away with it.
