do you have a Windows98 Bootdisk?
Or any floppy with FDISK and Format on it? You can't format a drive while its your current drive, ie
C:\>format c:

woudn't work, i don't think. worst comes to worst you could make a boot disk. format a 3.5 disk and copy to it:
command.com, format.com, fdisk.exe, an empty file named autoexec.bat, io.sys, msdos.sys
I dont really remember what goes on an MSDOS boot disk :( the first 3 of those files are critical, that's for sure.
OR, from the computer you are working on right now, you can make a boot disk. Just go to format the disk and click "Copy system files", and to it copy format.* and fdisk.*
they live in c:\windows\command

Good LUck
you can give me an AIM screen name if you want and i can help you out, i'll be online for a bit

Hehe, impatient lil' feller eh? Less than 30 minutes and you're losing it. Heheh, anyhow I understand you being impatient though. Trying to get your comp us as soon as possible. So as rajatQ2 said, get out that boot disk of yers. And run fdisk. You first need to delete whatever partition is on your drive, then create a partition, then format it.
