Picture is kinda large so I didn't link it to the board.

But that is besides the point. I was owned by Arithmetic and Algebraic Reasoning. 24 Right, 12 Wrong, 7 Omitted.

Final score:
Verbal 590
Math 540

I was shooting for Monterey State for marketing/sales.
I just need to get a 3.0 cummulative gpa and then that would automatically qualifies me for a CSU. I don't get to choose it, but still. :)

I mean on the percentage scale, isn't 1130 still like in the 70%+ range? That seems to be a very respectable score. And don't you still have your senior year left to boost your GPA?

Just go to a community college for two years and DO WELL, so you can transfer to a UC or something. You save a lot of cash doing that too.

Maybe...

but there is always the choice of what spigidygak said. You can save a lot of money by going to a JC, but personally, I feel that you would fall behind doing it. I just don't think that 2 years at a JC equal the education that you would get your first 2 years at a 4 year college. But if you are hard up for money than do it. If you aren't going to get into a 4 year school with your grades/SAT, then go to a JC for a year, and try and transfer ASAP, IMO.

Cal Poly is a really good school, but its kinda hard to get in. I applied to SLO with my 3.8 gpa and 1200 SAT, got turned down... :(

So now I go to CSUN, yep... good ol' CSUN. I hate school.

That or you could go to a small private school in the middle of a rich neighborhood where everything cost almost twice as much as it would in any other place. Also for fun it's located in the middle of nowhere and the closest city (SanFran) is about 1.5 hour drive away. Hmm... Don't you love how we blew so much money on that school Spig?

Passwird don't worry you still have time to fix things. Let's see I graduated from HS with a 3.0GPA, 3.2 if you used weigh scores for my honors classes. I scored a acceptable 27 on the ACTs, would have scored somewhere around 1250-1350 on the SATs if I ever took them. I put a lot of effort into my interview and schools were begging me to send my application to them. Too bad I am lazier than a slouth, that and my first year of college was wasted by CS (no not Computer Science, Counter-Strike most college student's Major:))

My advice to you Passwird is to make sure you do a good job with your interview and personal statement (also called Application Essay). Now colleges are starting to care less and less about grades and more and more about the actual qualities a person has. Don't worry too much though you still have time to work on your grades. Even if you end up going to a "junky" college, just try hard and get good grades score a 85%+ on your GREs and you can go to a GOOD Grad school. Grad school is what really matters too :)
