check for flash

is there a way i can have a page check to see if flash is installed on the users computer and have it automatically go to a flash or non flash page depending if its installed?

I have used this (http://www.macromedia.com/support/flash/ts/documents/scriptfree_detection.htm) method many times for Flash detection. This page mentions Flash 4, but it also works for Flash 5. Basically you create the smallest Flash movie possible and create a META tag that redirects the user to a different page after a set delay. If the Flash plug-in is not installed, the META tag redirection will kick in and send the user to a non-Flash page. Best of luck!
