I want to find a controller card with a Firewire port built in. I'm not sure if one even exists, but if it does, could someone leave a make/model.

Hopefully this will save a PCI slot... Thanks...

I know this isn't a controller card, but what about the SB Audigy? Since you're trying to save a PCI slot, you can use the Audigy as your soundcard and since it comes with a firewire port, your problems are solved.

Yeah, I don't know if I want to spend the money on and Audigy... And I'm looking for something cheaper than raid. I'm just looking to set up a file server as well storage. No need for massive amounts of performance. I just want to get the best quality for the price.
