Hey Yall,
I just got the VISIONTEK Xtasy 5632 GEFORCE2 GTS-V 4X/2X 32MB AGP. I was wonder on how the heck you over clock this thing. I'm an amateur on this kind of stuff.
Where do I start? How to I overclock a videocard?
Thanks
Use one of the following 4 ways to overclock your GeForce 2 Ti Heihachi.
Use cool bits (http://www.geforcefaq.com/faq.cgi) hack. This adds a tab to the Nvidia display control panel.
Download and use http://www.guru3d.com/rivatuner/ This is also great for tweaking your Geforce card.
NVmax is another tweaker (http://www.nvmax.com/cgi-bin/view.pl?DOWNLOAD=index)
Use powerstrip http://www.entechtaiwan.com/ps.htm
----------
Slowly overclock and test the videocard. Look for visual artifacts like spots or getting a lock up.

Yay.. running a stable 200/333. Too bad my monitor only will refresh at 60hz.... so 60 fps... freega farge.

Holy Shmolies.. 100fps at 1024... What exactly does that V-sync OFF do.

When V-sync is on it limits frame rate to the refresh rate. So, (for you, i.e.) with it on you will never see more than 60fps.

So why would anyone turn that dang thing on in the first place.. heheh... actually when it's off the quality seems a bit choppier.

I really don't know the exact reason of why one would keep it on.

Hmm.. image tearing.. sounds like EXACTLY what happens when I turn that off. That's what I meant when it was a bit choppier.
