How effective would this be:
http://www.trianglecables.com/1footvgadbma.html
to convert vga to rca?

would it degrade the picture quality a bunch? I want to use it so i can send a composite video single to this:
http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Product_ID=15435&CATID=44
or this:
http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?&PartNumber=205-050&DID=7
or this:
http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Product_ID=16106&CATID=44

I haven't decided yet. but for such a small viewing area, do you think things will be clear?

Should be reasonably fine. VGA is way WAY higher quality than RCA, so you're converting in the right direction.

i don't know what that would be used for but im almost positive you need something more complex then just a cable adapter to convert vga singals to ntsc.

i mean think about it, video cards with tv out have chips onboard to convert the singal so why would you be able to just use a cord?

plus i was reading the lcd faq from hocp and widefault (a guy that does all these sweet lcd mods) says you need a vga to ntsc converter which cost around $100 usually.
