Yep, those of us who purchased the Little Tikes JamCam because the Barbie one was out of stock are golden!!! I couldn't believe it when I found the rebate for it -- $40 woohoo. Here it is:

The reabte says at participating retailers only. Does anyone know if this'll work? I don't want to cut off the UPC if it isn't going to work. Also I checked buy.com (who has it for 55.95) and they make no mention of the rebate.

The rebate gets better and better. I called the phone number, 1-877-776-3493 and asked one of the reps about the rebate. First off, there is no designation of who is a participating retailer. That is, you can buy it from whomever you like as long as you get a receipt. And secondly, there is NO LIMIT. Yep, you could purchase 50 of these things and send in the rebates for all 50. Shop away!

Staples parts just arrived. Only took 1 day!!!

Fast service. Now I need to see how much my credit card was charged. Looks on the receipt like I did indeed get the ZIP, camera, and attache case at the great price, but I'll call my credit card company just to make sure.

Okay, I'm lost. What is this deal again? I understand that some camera has a rebate.. but what does it have to do with Staples and a Zip drive?

The deal started at the beginning of the week and was at staples, buy any digital camera and get a zip drive free. People bought the Jam cam, WWF slam cam, and barbie cams for little money (between rebates and/or price matches) and got the zip drive with it for free. But staples is in on it, and at last report there are few cameras or zip drives left and people haven't been able to do the deal since yesterday. Even the b&m stores have been warned and have pulled merchandise off the shelves according to some of the other boards. A few people that got in on the deal late have said they got the orders in on time, received only the camera and not the zip. They may have to return them. So it looks like this deal is pretty much dead if you didn't get in on it by tuesday or wednesday.

The point of the post was that, while the original deal Staples had was awesome, those of us who got in on the deal the fastest were able to purchase the cheap web cameras and get the deal. I purchased the Jamcam Jr. because the Barbie one was sold out. Unbeknownst to me, the Jamcam had a rebate in addition, so after getting all that stuff, I found the $40 rebate, which brought the whole deal down to an amazing $11 or thereabouts. There were so many codes and rebates involved in that deal that I can't remember them all, but it was truly amazing.
