Leon or anybody who knows about cases, I was wondering if there is a particular case out there in the market that does a really good job at keeping the noise level down - produced by the fans and hard drive. I heard of such projects as inserting foam and noise dampeners inside the case, but are there companies out there that pre-install the noise dampeners in the cases and sell them?
Good review, Leon. :) I'm finally thinking about getting another case ( my case is really noisy ).
Thanks, sbp. It's been a while, and I'm a tad rusty. :heh:
alaysias: If you want a quiet case, you will probably have to do it yourself for now. I haven't seen any predampened cases, but installing foam shouldn't be too diffcult. You are going to want to get silences fans and a silenced power supply unit. You can probably get a good amount of foam at Home Depot for cheap. I might be having to do something like that soon as my Thermalright SK6 heatsinks with the Delta fans are ridiculously loud.
Here's a review by Tweak3D to reduce noise level.
