Which one is good? I've seen the Vision Tek get good reviews, but some have told me that Vision Tek sucks as a card manufacturer. Does anyone else have a recommendation? PNY? Gainward?

This is just a random question about the GeForce 3 Ti 200...
I've heard that the Ti 200 is just an underclocked version of the Ti 500, but is essentially, it is the same hardware. Would it be possible to overclock a Ti 200 to near Ti 500 speeds?

I doubt it.. the ti200 is slow than the regular geforce 3. I'm sure you could OC the ti200 to Geforce 3 speeds though. I'm not too sure about OCing it to ti500 speeds.
Too lazy to look up the speeds of all 3 cards for ya.. but you get the picture.

Yes, Many people have o/c ti200s to ti500 speeds. I saw one person who had hi ti200 clocked to 240/565 (core/mem[DDR]) and a ti500 is 240/500.
Default ti200 is 175/400 and the Geforce 3 is 200/466.
Heck I have mine @ 225/475 with stock cooling. I have heard of people with ti500 speeds with stock cooling.

The Ti 200's use slightly slower memory than the 500. I think the gf ti 500 uses 3.8ns memory and the 200's use 4.0ns Not really that much of a difference.

Yeah, but I think you're oc'ing the memory too...
I guess your mileage will vary...
