Just checking before I post:
Doing a search in these forums for peer-2-peer applications (e.g. Audiogalaxy, KaZaA, Morpheus) returned several threads in which there were posts indicating that the thread in question should have been removed.
Has the g|a staff 'set down the law' on all discussions of peer-2-peer file sharing applications, of which i am not aware?
If so, confused as to why, James

I would think it's OK to ask your question(s) as long as you don't violate g|a?'s rules. One of those rules is no warez, so it depends on what you're using it for, I suppose.
O mighty GAM, please enlighten us!

oh, and as far as WHY, G|A will never condone any illegal activities. warez, or using software that you are not paying for (basically stealing or piracy), both fall under illegal activities. of course, you may do it, but not here. they dont want G|A to be a hotbed of software piracy at all.
haha, and after reading the front page of G|A? on the 12th, you can see why they don't want any of that going on in these forums. None of us would want lpmiller, apex, and least of all Jenny :bawl: to be dragged off to jail because we wanted an illegal copy of a program...
