A guy I know who lives in New York said that a local Ford dealer cancelled his orders after seeing the car live. He heard that nobody wants them. I wonder if this is true nationwide?

Not true in So. Cal. Some dealers are fetching $30,000 over sticker price.

$30k OVER sticker? that's ludicrous...
I've seen about three on the road out here in PA. But even then, they were all on the "Main Line" (Where all the $$ in PA is). I don't think they are selling as well as Ford had hoped, but then, there aren't many for sale on lots.

Well they are "selling", just not sure to whom. Something tells me the mid 40 year olds who are trying to feel "cool" and "hip". Damn mid-life crisis. Plus thunderbird lovers are prolly buying them up.

I really don't think that mid 40 somethings can afford $35,000 TBirds. Especially after their 2nd ex-wife has thoroughly taken everything that they ever owned.
