Which game to get for the PS2?

hey im stumped! I hope u guys/gals played these games so which one should I get?


max payne or dynasty warriors 3

I own DW2 and it was a pretty cool game.
I only saw MP in the mag and it looks really good too
so which one?

max payne is cool, but 10 hours tops.

can't say about dynasty.

Personally, I'd get Grand theft auto 3.

my bro picked up GTA3 a while back pretty good game. (at least it last longer than the average ps2 game)

GTA3 is really cool. you can play it for a long time and not get bored with it. that's my vote. it's a great multiplayer game.

The PS2 version of max payne is REALLY buggy. I recommend playing payne onyour computer. So I guess my vote is for the other one. I just got SSX Tricky because I liked the first on so much and I'm not disapointed. It has amazingly high replay value for a sports game in single player.

Well you can go "head-to-head" with another person. Guess you can call that multiplayer.

are you talking about Gran Turismo 3 or Grand Theft Auto 3? i know GT3 is multiplayer, but i havent ever seen any multiplayer options in GTA3

FFX is great. I'm pretty addicted to it right now. Unlike some FF games (FF8), the main character isn't a jerk this time and it actually likeable. Too bad his dubbed voice is a little high pitched and annoying at times.

On a lighter note...

Anybody who is there... can you win teh first Blitzball tourny? I keep getting into OT, and then losing... ticking me off. Im one of those people that go through a game like FF and try and to the utmost that I can, which, in FFX, would include winning the Tourny. Am I just wasting my time here?

I won the first Blitzball tournament on my 3rd try, so it is VERY doable. It's just not very easy. I won in OT with my final shot from Wakka. I was losing 0-1 in the first half, but I leveled up Tidus so I used one of this special moves to score my first point. I finally won in OT using Wakka with his special move. Here are some suggestions:

- Change your Defense to "right". This will make it tougher for the other team to score.

- I used Manual A setting to control my own guys. The computer does a crappy job.

- Level up Tidus as much as possible so you can use his special moves in the 2nd half

- Stay away from Graus (I think that was his name

- Try to maneuver to the goal from the outside perimeter. There are fewer opponents there to surround you.

Anyhow, keep trying and I'm sure you'll get it.
